Confidentiality Agreement

Purpose:

I find that in order to create a safe space where you can open up and be authentic, It’s important for you to know that whatever happens in our sessions stays between you and I. This is a judgement free zone and whatever you share with me. I will hold in confidence

Definition of Confidentiality Agreement:

This confidentiality agreement includes but is not limited to:

Obligations of (me) the coach:

I agree to keep all Confidential information private and not to disclose it to any third party individuals without your explicit consent.

I agree to use the confidential information solely for the purpose of providing coaching services.

I will take reasonable steps to protect the confidentiality of the client’s information.

Exceptions:

Confidentiality does not apply if:

The information is already public or becomes public through no fault of the Coach
Disclosure is required by law, court order or legal process
The only circumstance that is not upheld is if I believe or you demonstrate to be a harm to yourself or another person. In that case, I have an ethical obligation to report to the proper authorities.

Term:

This agreement remains in effect for the duration of the Coaching relationship and will remain in effect after its termination unless otherwise agreed in writing.
